Review: Iberogast for Irritable Bowel(IBS) – Buy Iberogast from Amazon.com
Today I’ll be reviewing Iberogast, a natural herbal pro-kinetic motility agent distributited by Medical Futures & Flordis.
warning: According to the the Flordis website, Iberogast contains Ethanol which may be derived from corn. If you have a severe corn allergy, you should not use Iberogast.
So first off, what is a motility?
Motility is basically another word for movement. Movement in your digestive tract is obviously important. It’s especially important that these movements are coordinated. A lot of digestive problems can be linked to poor motility, such as chronic indigestion, gastroparesis, constipation or diarrhea.
Basically somewhere in your system these movements are going too fast or too slow. These symptoms could be a chronic issue such as when dealing with IBS or gastroparesis or acute symptoms brought on by eating too much or food poisoning.
There’s a little diagram to the right to help illustrate motility. Hopefully your digestive tract isn’t really green, orange & red. ;)
What is Iberogast?
Iberogast, which is also known as STW 5, is a mixture of different herbs that have been shown in clinical studies to aid in the motility of the gut. It was developed in 1961, so it’s been in use for decades. Since it’s herbal and natural, side effects or problems from it should be rare/non-existent.
What’s in Iberogast?
Here’s a list of the main herbs in Iberogast. Probably not what you’d find in your kitchen:
- Iberis amara
- Caraway Fruit
- Peppermint Leaves
- St. Mary’s Thistle
- Lemon Balm Leaves
- Liquorice Root
How do you take Iberogast?
Iberogast comes in a 100 milliliter bottle. The bottle contains a special cap on top of the bottle to help aid with dispensing it via little droplets. Dosage suggestions are 8 drops for children 3 months – 3 years, 10 drops for children 3 to 6 years, 15 drops for children 6 to 12 years & 20 drops for anyone 12 years or older. For an adult this gives you about 100 doses per bottle or if you’re taking it 3 times a day with each meal, you essentially have a 1 month supply.
The label recommends Iberogast be mixed with warm water, but also states it can be mixed with your favorite drink. It’s suggested that you to take Iberogast with each meal.
Medical Futures has a statement on their website that Iberogast should not be used by women who are pregnant or nursing due to lack of clinical studies on women who are pregnant or nursing. However, they follow that statement up with the fact that it’s been used for years and probably doesn’t pose a significant risk.
The flavor is similar to the taste of raw vanilla extract or perhaps licorice. Iberogast does contain some alcohol, which you can somewhat taste.
The flavor would probably be less noticeable in a cola based soft drink like Pepsi or Coca-Cola. UPDATE: Some in the comments below have recommended against using soft drinks for Iberogast, and instead have suggested to use water, juice or milk/milk substitutes. Honestly, these suggestions can also cause people digestion issues as well, usually due to the sugars present in juice or milk. If you want to avoid any possibility of problems then I’d suggest you just use water. The flavor is pretty mild when mixed with a cup full of water.
Also if you do notice your symptoms worsening or different symptoms occurring then you should stop using Iberogast in case you are having allergic reaction to the one of the ingredients used in Iberogast.
Does it work?
I would have to say, yes it has helped me out from time to time. It has not cured my IBS, but I do feel less bloated & perhaps I have less constipation. It’s certainly worth trying, especially if you’re trying to stay on a more natural route for healing. I have not had any negative side effects or issues that I would blame on Iberogast.
Where To Buy Iberogast:
I am not sure it’d really be helpful for someone with diarrhea. It’s a prokinetic so it’s supposed to make your system move stuff through. That said it could have a regulatory effect where it helps the digestive tract move more naturally. I’d say Iberogast is worth a try for anyone with digestive issues as problems at the top(stomach) can cause problems at the bottom(intestines/colon).
Unfortunately it didn’t help me at all, it was recommended to me by my gastro doc to relieve symptoms of IBS/D, waste of money for me as it ended up in the loo, not saying some might get relief from this preparation, cheers. I will keep looking for that magic answer.
try Metagenics g-tox express and thermo phase detox helped me longtime stomach problems for years told IBS
i have also noticed that my poo was a very dark color, is it something i should worry about, this is my 3 day using iberogast
Hi I work in a Pharmacy & would like to stock Iberogast . Please contact me on 07 33596717
I do not work for the people who make Iberogast. It’s a generic formula that is manufactured by different companies. In Australia you would probably want to contact Flordis for distribution information.
I have taken Iberogast for IBS and it has helped. However I have a strange bitter taste all the time in my mouth – even 12 hours after taking it. Could this be a side effect? Does anyone else have this symptom?
I have not experienced that issue after taking Iberogast & I use it almost daily. What do you mix it with? You might try mixing it with tea or cola. I’ve actually had issues with having a bitter sour taste in my mouth since I developed IBS, this might be why I’ve never noticed this issue after taking Iberogast, but again I haven’t heard of this being a side effect. Iberogast is somewhat bitter in flavor, but that should pass or be masked by whatever you’re drinking it with.
Yes as soon as i take it after 10 to 15 min my blood pressure rise from 128/86 to 140/92. It als makes me feel irratable.
Licorice is well known to increase blood pressure.
I have used iberogast for 3 days. I see a slight improvement in my stomach but have noticed my asthma is so much worse. Could this be the iberogast.?
I have only just started taking Iberogast to assist with reflux, bloating and irritable bowel. I have found it has settled my reflux and bloating considerably however I am now experiencing acute episodes of diarrhea, nauseum and some sort sort of slight irritation of my nervous system resulting in skin irritation. I have been taking it in accordance with the instructions for an adult. I am going to try cutting the dosage to maybe 10 drops instead of twenty before each meal to see if that produces a better result. It is early days yet.
Reducing your dosage might be a good idea. You may also try stopping it’s usage completely and see if your symptoms persist. You may be dealing with an acute illness that is unrelated to the Iberogast. There is also the possibility your body is not used to the different motility pattern that taking Iberogast can produce and maybe it’ll work itself out over time.
I took iberogast for the first time today to see if it helps out my bloating form my gastroparesis. I took 20 drops in water and ate right after I feel a slight discomfort in my chest area like my heart i can feel it beating I am not sure if it is form the Iberogast or just me thinking it in my head.
Could be placebo effect or perhaps the alcohol in the Iberogast. You could try a smaller dosage & see if the issue persists. You could also drink it slowly while eating or after eating. It could be that the Iberogast is stimulating the Vagus nerve which goes down the chest and is responsible for many different organs, including the stomach.
Is the iberogast helpful to you? ?
Please replay to me
Because i was suffering with Gastroparesis???
I had a pierced colon two years ago and my bowel has never been the same.I have continuous constipation and was wondering if this would help settle my stomach. My doctor told me to take movicol and coloxyl and that really upset my stomach Am all aches and pains at the moment.
Taking iberogast or any other supportive medication for any kind of digestive problems you have to look into your diet. With IBS there are lot of foods you should avoid. Different “side effects” mentioned before can be caused by the foods that the body can not break down etc. most common trigger foods are dairy, wheat, caffein, tea etc
Mixing it with cola is the worst ou can do for your gut. Cola is a soft drink which is one of the first thing that should be avoided with any digestive issues.
I appreciate your comment. Some people will benefit from an exclusion diet. However almost every food group has been “linked” to IBS. These include wheat or other grains, dairy, various meats, corn, legumes, fruits and vegetables. You will find someone out there who will tell you one or more of those groups is the reason for IBS. This makes it extremely frustrating for someone trying to find a balanced and tasty diet. For many with IBS, diet changes do not improve symptoms. For some, soft drinks do not cause an upset stomach while eating an apple or leafy greens does. It can be very difficult to pinpoint a diet that adequately relieves symptoms for someone with IBS.
I can relate exactly to your description of IBS. Removal of some magical dietary element that’s supposed to be the culprit. Or adding the infamous “fibre” component which is by far not “the” solution. I’ve been struggling with IBS for over 40 years – constantly focusing on a balanced diet, no skipping meals avoiding fried foods and bubbles. I’ve tried Iberogast for the first time a few months ago and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised by the positive effects. I have howerver been scouting the internet to look for studies on long-term effects. I do vary the dosage – when things are well, I keep it to a single morning dose or stop altogether up to 3 doses during the tougher periods. I travel quite a bit and that is an IBS killer but bringing Iberogast on my trips helps. I’m glad I found your website.
Just started taking iberogast about 4 weeks now. I see some change, but still have one bad day. Cramps diarra, nasura takes couple of hours to get better. Have gastroparis. How long does take to work?
I have done alot of work for Flordis in Australia.
Firstly to many of the above posts…I don not recommend putting Iberogast into Pepsi or Cola!
Water, milk ( or milk substitute) or juice will do. Most black current/grape juices hide the taste quite well.
Iberogast is only indicated for IBS or Functional Dyspepsia (Reflux)… And if taken 20 drops 3 x daily before meals should take about 28 days to restore function and motility of the bowel. It can be taken long term.
However In saying this it will help with many other conditions concerning the bowel but cannot be considered a treatment rather symptomatic relief.
Stress and diet play a huge role in the maintance and relief of both these conditions. This is why many recommendations insist on Diet and lifestyle changes.
With David’s post I would be worried that you might have an allergic reaction to a herb in the product….this is a VERY rare event but I would stop taking Iberogast and see if it resolves.
In regards to manufacturing….Iberogast is made by one single family run company in Germany. This is why it’s such a amazing product!! It’s a consistent, specifically proven clinically trailed herbal medicine. Many companies have bought the rights to distribution- hence the difference packaging/marketing.
Hope this all helps.
How can I purchase this product? I have seen it on Amazon in the U.S. but don’t know if it is the same product. Thanks.
my IBS is caused by soluble fibre so I tend to stay clear of it but I get diarrhea so will Iberogast make it worse with this motile thing ? I also want to try for my mild reflux. I just took myself off PPI’s which I said to Specialist all along I reckon caused IBS in the first place although have always had a tender gut due to travelling so much but never the IBS thing. Specialist OK with getting off PPI’s and currently using Zantac for last month.
My main concern after reading these posts is I dont want to exacerbate the diarrhea ?
Increased motility could cause more bowel movements, but there is no guarantee it would make your diarrhea worse. When I was taking PPIs, such as Prevacid, I think I noticed that it made my IBS symptoms worse. The effect of Iberogast for me is pretty mild, so I would not feel too worried about it making your situation worse, but there are always those who it will not agree with.
How did you know your IBS is caused by Fibre?
i took one dose of iberogast late yesterday, and today am covered in hives- very red and swollen. I have done nothing that would cause the hives, so suspect this is a reaction to the drops- will not take again. Has this happened to anyone else.
Yes it probably is caused by one of the herbs in the product. I am allergic to many things and I get eczema from lots of herbs in large concentrated doses. Also I react adversely to the licorish; it makes my blood pressure go up and a bit more nervous, and I take very few drops of the product, like 2. When I took 20 drops my stomach just completely stopped moving and was very painful, I felt like I had a tone of bricks inside of me. I found that 2 drops I still get an effect, like my throat feels like it’s swollen and I have lots of mucus from the licorish. I found that ever since my stomach has gone bad I am super sensitive to everything, like those PPIs when I do take them I just bite a tiny bit of it off the pill, I found that to cause me less side effects and still gives me some relief. So if you find you have very adverse effect, just reduce the dosage.
I took 2 doses today but a few hours after the first dose my throat and mouth are itchy im not sure if its cause by this product
I have had trouble with hives after taking Iberogast but not every time I take it. I do take it with my allergy med in the am and my allergist gave me prednisone in case I do break out with hive. It may seem like the the best thing to do is stop the Iberogast but I’ve run out of options.
Can you tell me please – if Iberogast by Flordis is the same product as Iberogast by Medical Futures?/
Yes, they should be the same thing, just a different distributor.
When putting the 20 drops in liquid, does it say anywhere how MUCH liquid to put it in? Does it need to be a full cup or can it be less?
It does not, but 8 – 12 ounces is what I usually use. Usually I try to sip all of it over a 10 – 15 minute period.
Chemist recomended to try iberogast i have constipation i dont get urge to go unless i use laxative to make me go i did have rectal surgery for prolape using mesh to lift it back up but constipated since so i hoping this stuff can get me a rythmn back into my bowel to make me want to go its the urge feeling thats the problem and im sick of using laxettes and i cant stand using movicol cause it cause leakages all the time when i dont even have to go thankyou
I have IBS C and have been suffering for years. I dont eat gluten, dairy or nuts. This helps but doesnt solve the problem. I have tried EVERYTHING!!! I have done colon hydrotherapy, reflexology, accupuncture, prune juice, olive oil, lemons, molasses, colon flushes, naturopahy, fibre supplements, enzymes and probiotics….the list can go on…I have been taking Iberogast for a few months and its the best thing yet. I stopped taking it for a week and then slowly had the bloating and constipation slowly return. After suffering from stomach issues since I was a little girl (i am now 32) I feel this is the best thing Ive tried. I wish I would have known about it before all the weird poses on the toilet they tell you to use (haha) and the anemas. Please at least try it. You should know within a coyple days if not sooner.
I am very hopefully and appreciate reading these past comments. I’m sick to death of other people’s well meaning advice on what I should take, do or not take or not do. It’s exhausting but reading this blog and with my Doctor’s advice to get this product I am hopeful that I may have a ‘normal’ digestive system from tomorrow onwards. Thank you.
Is the alcohol in ibrogast safe? does it irritate the stomach lining?
dieeet is fruit fish and chicken. Pleeeeeze I’m getting depressed thinking of suicide. I have started exercising I drink only water but please I see good and bad results from iberogast. Should I get a supplement. I hardly have an appetite one meal and one cup of tea and fruit that is me for the day. I am worried as I’m losing weight. Pleeeeeze if anyone can help with more information it will be greatly appreciated Thank you so much. It is the diarree that gets me.
Can the drops be taken without mixing in a liquid?
You could take the drops without liquid, but you’ll get a concentrated taste and I don’t think it works as well. I would suggest mixing it with 12 – 16 ounces of water and then sipping it slowly over 15 – 20 minutes for best effect.
I’ve just started taking ibergast 3 times daily (x20 drops). I’ve had IBS which made my work very difficult as the mornings progressively got worse. Some days I’m still going to the bathroom more than 10 times a day. The doctors kept saying I was constipated (!!!) but I know I’m not ! I go every day – in fact too much! It’s not diahorrea but I have awful cramps like I need to go until about 4pm then it’s over for the day. The need to go wakes me everyday but usually I can’t go until I have a cup of coffee (one a day).
Today’s my third day on ibergast. I like the taste and so far feel slightly better but it’s still been a long day. I stopped the probiotics months ago (now just eat greek yoghurt) and started buying ibergast. I’m very hopeful and like the taste. Bloating seems to be better – I’m so hopeful!!
I’ve been taking Iberogast for 2 months for relief from both IBS and GERD. For me, the Iberogast plus a change in my diet has been a miracle! I drink Iberogast (20 drops) in a cup of warm water twice a day–I sprinkle cinnamon on top! My gut has calmed down considerably and IBS is no longer interfering with my quality of life. I also cut out sugar and gluten–hardest thing I’ve ever done!!! But I feel so much better!
Hi Diana. Glad to see you’ve found something that works for you. I was wondering if you’d be willing to share your dietary habits as they are today. I’d also wanted to try to do what you did, but I’m not sure exactly what I’d replace my current foods with. Would be really helpful. Thank you.
I started taking this yesterday and I noticed this morning my poo was green. Is his from the licorice root in the ingredients?
It’s unlikely, unless you drank the whole bottle. If it persists, then maybe there is a link. However, there are a lot of things that can change the color of your poop.
i have been using probiotics for sometime I found this has helped but still get really bad pains and constipation and diarrhoea bloating etc for IBS do you think Iberogast be better
Has anybody with SIBO-C, taken this with good results?
Can this serve as a replacement for HCL? After two-3 weeks on HCL, I started getting a tight feeling in my esophagus when I ate so I stopped and now Im better. Also, I had a weird metal-like taste in my mouth too.
I did take the Heidelberg Test and results showed I did not make any stomach acids which is why I started the HCL.
Today is day 1 for me on Iberogast.
I will follow up with results.
I have IBS C. Gastritis, refux. This gave me cramps, sweating and syncape. Feeling hopeless again. I even reduced the drops by half.
Prior to my wife’s heart transplant, she had problems with gastroparesis. She complained of bloating, feeling as though her food was just sitting there, and at times she would stick her finger down her throat to try and empty her stomach. After her heart transplant, she improved for at least four years, but is now having gastroparesis return, (although not as bad). She also went through several tests to try and determine if she had a stricture and diverticulitis. She was recently told that she does not have either. I plan to ask her Cardiologist if she could possibly take Ibersogast. Her Cardiac team usually frowns upon any supplements, due to possible reactions with her tacrolimus, (the antirejection drug,) Do you know if this supplement would react with her heart meds? And is Iberogast a product that can help with gastroparesis?
I don’t get the part where says to nursing mothers not to consume,
But it can be given to a baby less the 3 months old.
What is right dose of Ibergust for adults ?
I ordered from Amazon a few bottles of 20 mg and I take 20 drops , 3times a day.
Do I need to order stronger dose of 100 mg ?
I have a corn allergy and when I took this product was assualted with the full gammut of allergic symptoms. I have medically diagnosed IBS and my doctor had suggested iberogast. Could only take it twice as the pain, runs, etc was awful. A week later and I am still not over the effect of taking this product. Is the alcohol derived from corn?
It turns out Iberogast does use ethanol, which is often derived from corn. I’ll put a warning in my blog post.
I’m allergic to avocados, bananas and anything from rubber type plant. Do any ingredients come from that type of plant?
I just received a bottle of Iberogast, but I can’t find anywhere (internet, my “gut” doctor, etc.. if your are suppose to take it prn (as needed), or if you need to take it 3’x/day everyday to build it up in your system?
Carol, you should take it as needed. It is not a probiotic or something that needs to build up in your system. You may not notice an effect every time you use it. If you see no improvement after using it a dozen times, then it likely will not work for your symptoms.
I currently only use it when I have indigestion.
To be true when drink, taste is different but i can say it helps differently from person to person.i am having cramps now,i just drink an feel like %20 less spazm…but i guess if use maybe for a week,it can give more advantage! plus this ibs is something very strange :) its like whether, one day good other day rainy… We humens :)
I have suffered IBS for more than 40 years. I believe it was a combination of stress and alcohol that started it off. I don’t have it all the time but when I do its constipation, severe bloating and lower abdomen pain.Over the years I have tried many different things but one that has helped is slippery elm capsules. I am always willing to try something else so tomorrow it’s off to the chemist for some iberogast. I am not getting my hopes up too much as many things in the past have had no favourable effect.
I started taking Iberogast this week for gastroparesis, bloating and GERD. I’m using it to replace reglan. I’ve noticed nausea after taking it that lasts all day. I have reduced the dose but I am still experiencing the nausea. Is this something that will go away?
Kris it may not be the Iberogast that is causing the nausea but whatever condition you were taking Reglan for. Iberogast shouldn’t cause nausea to worsen. If Reglan was working, but you’re concerned about its safety, you might look into finding Motilium(Domperidone), which works in a similar manner but does not get passed into the brain like Reglan does. I wish more US doctors took tardive dyskinesia more seriously, and were willing to prescribe Motilium(Domperidone) instead.
IBEROGAST has saved my Life ! It may sound like an exaggeration, however if you have been in my position you will understand my comment. After a number of exploratory procedures my Specialist said I have nothing more than IBS and gave me a food map that I should follow and also suggested I try Iberogast. At first I thought this natural product that you can buy without a prescription was a waste of time and money. However as time went on and I was in the toilet 5-8 times a day and during the night with diarrhoea, gurgling stomach & drained I went to get supplements and a bottle of Iberogast. At that point it was affecting my work and social life as i need to always be 2meters away from a toilet as I had no control over my bowel moments. The thought that this is was going to be my life from now on. It was a nightmare and started to feel hopeless and depressed. All i can tell you is from the very first day I took Iberogast I had an immediate positive reaction. I am now 80% better, can go to work & out to dinner or a simple walk without taking a doggy bag for myself ! ! I really held no faith in this product, but I was desperate so gave it a go. This has been my Liquid Gold ever since and my saviour. I am not 100% but can certainly have a life worth living. Its a totally natural product and most of us like myself have been conditioned to believe it’s just herbal placebo fluff. All I can say is THANK YOU to the gifted people who came up with this magic potion that has given my Life back. God Bless them !
Dear Pam, and I have also suffered with IBS D, I am 46 an d have suffered for over 10 years now. I am taking Endep 20mg daily to try and soothe the symptoms but I am on my 4th IBS attack in 2 months. So you would swear by this ? I am desperate for some normality and my life back. Thank you.
Please be warned!!!!…I took Iberogast for five days after experiencing IBS…this product was recommended by a pharmacist…I have been back to see this person and showed her the doctors results after taking Iberogast, Rash (legs and Arms), Cramps in the legs, Muscle soreness, Shortness of breath, unable to urinate for three days which caused fluid retention, Hot and Cold fevers, heartburn, Headaches, and very tired….I am now waiting for blood tests etc to see if my kidneys etc have been effected…..please , please please be very aware of this product . l will be contacting Fiordis shortly when l recieve the results from my tests…….my local pharmacist has been made aware of my syptoms, total of ten days very unwell..
Thanks for the warning, and I hope you feel better. I’ve personally never felt worse after taking Iberogast. Someone else mentioned having a potential reaction to the ethanol in Iberogast. Maybe you had an allergic reaction, or it’s possible your symptoms are from some other malady. If anyone has similar symptoms(especially failure to urinate) when starting any medication or supplement, they should stop taking it and seek medical help immediately.
i read on Google that the last ingredient Glycyrrhiza glabra causes heart attack in small doses , Have not seen it written any where else. Wondering if you can explai this to me thank you . phyl
“Glycyrrhiza glabra” is Licorice, a common flavoring in candies and used in other herbal remedies. Taking large amounts of licorice could lead to pseudoaldosteronism which in rare cases can lead to heart attack. I think the information you read had their information backwards. That said, people with heart or other health conditions should inspect the labeling of any supplement they take to ensure it does not make their conditions worse or interfere with their existing medication regimen.
I am using it for almost a week . Bloating is at times less however not much. I was hoping for a faster effect as it is costly. I will keep using it as I am hopeful. No side affects but the need to take it more than 3times as I long for relieve.
I have been suffering from bloating, gas, constipation for more than 4 years. The doctor send me for colonoscopy and he did not find anything and he recommended me to take movicol.
Now I want to start using this iberogast. is it safe to use?
For most people Iberogast is completely safe. Read through the comments to see others’ experiences though, and then make up your own mind.
It’s been 3 years I suffered with IBS. My symptom is diarrhea and disorder of peristalsis. If I take this Iberogast, how long can I get this?
I mean some medicines can not be used for a long period without doctor’s permission.
Is it okay to take for a long period? like 3 months or 1 year..?
I have found that this has helped with motility however I started noticing that I’m waking up with a tightening on the right side of my stomach. I’m wondering if Iberogast is the culprit.
I have IBS and suffer from bad constipation and have just started using Iberogast to find relief. But I have chronic kidney disease, is it safe for me to use, will it affect the kidneys?? Is anyone out there with CKD using Iberogast??
I have suffered with Digestive problems since I was 18 years old I am now 63 And boy have I suffered from IBS, Im wanting to know if IBEROGAST and A PROBIOTIC will relieve all the discomfort I experience 24/7, I have got to the stage where I am to scared to eat anytning because of the pain bloadtednessand just uncomfortable. Would appreciate your advice thank you.
Iberogast and probiotics may also help. Likely they aren’t cures. They haven’t cured me. Iberogast has helped with acute nasuea and indigestion. Probiotics are mixed bag. I am more interested in Fecal Microbiota Transplant as a potential “cure” for IBS and other chronic digestive maladies. It’s still a bit fringe, but research trials are going on. Hopefully it’ll be an easy option available to people within the next decade.
I have not only gastroparesis, but also gastritis (inflamed stomach lining) and 3 minor ulcers. Alcohol is a no-no for gastritis sufferers. Gabriel, do you think Iberogast would be ok for me to take? My gastroparesis gives me the most problems and I’m so tired of the cement-in-stomach, heavy feeling I get every day. Would love to try this if it won’t burn my stomach lining or worsen my ulcers.
I have been on Iberogast for over a year for my Gastroparisis. Yesterday I read the bottle stating to take for only 8 weeks. I have done wonderful on it? Would like to know why only 8 weeks? Tried prescription Urocholine and Antibiotics on a daily basis but didn’t work. The doctor that recommended it was an intergrative doctor I don’t see anymore. Is there harm to continue take it?
Is iberogast still ok to use if i left it in a hot car?
Wondering if anyone has used iberogast for post-infection-IBS, symptoms being slight constipation, abdominal cramps and mucous in stool?
I am a bit nervous about taking this Ibergast now as i have bad diarhea no constipation at all, and as i am a chronic asthmatic i am wondering if it will effect my breathing. It cost a lot of money so i have to use it but worried about it.
I have had IBS for past 30 years and have just started taking iberogast it worked after the first dose – it’s a miracle I cannot believe the relief it’s given me – best ever
I have had chronic constipation all my life. I’ve tried so many things. I’m using suppositories and enemas and MOM. I want to have Bowel movements without using them constantly.
Will Iberogast work? I have had chronic distention for 8 months. I lost ,30 pounds and I look 5 months pregnant. Could Iberogast help the distention.?
OMG I have been suffering with IBS and acid reflux all my life. Right now I have so much gas in my tummy and it won’t come out. My tummy is bloated and I have severe cramps. I’m nauseous half the time. I have to try this. I will buy it TODAY and let you know the outcome.
Does Iberogast come in capsule (ie gel) form, which would be easier than drops.
